Mark Gustavson DDS earned his B.A. in Chemistry at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, and receiving the J. Raymond Gill Award for Excellence in Clinical Prosthodontics.
After dental school he completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The residency focused on full mouth reconstructions in fixed and removable prosthodontics. He continues to enjoy full-mouth reconstructions on his patients! Dr. Gustavson has a license to practice dentistry in Wisconsin, and lives in Madison with his wife, Katie and his children, Tyra, Cullen and Evelyn. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Madison Seattle Study Club which focuses on comprehensive treatment in collaboration with the specialists in the area.
In his free time Mark is an avid cyclist. He annually completes the Horribly Hilly Hundreds bike event out of Blue Mound State Park, but gets more enjoyment out of riding their tandem bicycle with his children. Along with cycling he is on the Affiliated Dentists basketball team, with three patients, that plays in the Verona Men’s League. When not chasing the kids around and exercising he enjoys Badger basketball and football.
