JoAnn Miller DDS grew up on a farm outside of a small town in Iowa. She aspired to be a dentist since her junior year in high school but had little besides the dream.
She put herself through undergrad earning various academic scholarships, providing tutoring services and also working in the college cafeteria feeding the Iowa Hawkeye football team.
While working as a dental assistant and finishing undergrad, JoAnn applied to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and was accepted. After graduating in 2003 and marrying in 2007 newlyweds JoAnn and husband Sam moved to Madison, Wisconsin. In 2009 she joined Affiliated Dentists as well as the the newly-formed Madison chapter of the Seattle Study Club, a nationwide study group for dental professionals.
When away from work, JoAnn and her husband Sam enjoy living in Madison with their 2 pointer dogs, Amber Ale and Magnum. They love watching Badger football, especially when the Hawkeyes come to town. Outside of football season they all love heading back to Iowa to go 4-wheeling on the dirt roads and boating on the Mississippi River.
