JoAnn Miller DDS grew up on a farm outside of a small town in Iowa. She aspired to be a dentist since her junior year in high school but had little besides the dream.
She put herself through undergrad earning various academic scholarships, providing tutoring services and also working in the college cafeteria feeding the Iowa Hawkeye football team.
While working as a dental assistant and finishing undergrad, JoAnn applied to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and was accepted. After graduating in 2003 JoAnn moved to Madison, Wisconsin. In 2009 she joined Affiliated Dentists as well as the the newly-formed Madison chapter of the Seattle Study Club, a nationwide study group for dental professionals.
When away from work, JoAnn enjoys living in Madison with her 2 pointer dogs, Amber Ale and Magnum. She loves watching Badger football, especially when the Hawkeyes come to town. Outside of football season she loves heading back to Iowa to go 4-wheeling on the dirt roads and boating on the Mississippi River.
