John Busby DDS began his career in dentistry more than three decades ago. He is a 1978 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry and received a Certificate of Merit from the American Association of Endodontists. After graduating, he completed a Family Practice Residency in the U.S. Army. As an Army officer, Dr. Busby served in numerous locations, including Nuremberg Germany. Following five years of active duty service, Dr. Busby returned to Madison and joined the group that became Affiliated Dentists. Dr. John Busby is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2006, Dr. Busby earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern. Today he serves as the Managing Partner of Affiliated Dentists.
Since 1983, he has been providing dental health care to Madison area families. His emphasis is providing cosmetic services and restoring people’s smile. Dr. Busby completed training to become a certified Zoom! Chairside Whitening System Provider.
Dr. Busby is married to Terry Busby and they have 3 adult daughters: Katherine, Laura and Jenifer and many grandchildren.
In his spare time Dr. Busby volunteers as the head of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Capital Campaign and various Veterans groups. On weekends Dr. Busby is often found in Door County, Wisconsin either golfing or kayaking. In spite of years of lessons, his golf game continues to struggle.
