Choosing Your Smile Makeover with Implant Technology

We can restore your missing teeth with full mouth reconstruction.

Patients with a full arch of missing teeth have a reason to smile again! Advances in technology along with the expertise of Dr. Mark Gustavson has brought us the ability to place four dental implants (Madison) in a single arch instead of a single dental implant per missing tooth. Using these four dental implants, a brand new smile can be crafted.

How It Works

The process of our same day smile is relatively simple. First, the patient is sedated, and four titanium dental implants are placed in their upper or lower arch. Once completed, Dr. Gustavson will craft a temporary but beautiful full arch smile that connects to the implants themselves.

Dental implants take awhile to heal, which is why the first smile will be temporary. Once the patient has fully healed, Dr. Gustavson will place the permanent arch of professionally crafted teeth onto the implants.

Only Four Implants Are Needed

An implant for each missing tooth is not needed. Just like 4 legs on a chair, the implants help stabilize each other. A titanium bar is attached to the implants in the temporary and the permanent restoration to create strength. Titanium in the temporary is a great improvement over the previous process, which was prone to fractures.

What Are Dental Implants?

Implants look, function and feel just like natural teeth because they are anchored to the jawbone. They consist of a biocompatible titanium screw and post topped by a crown, and help maintain bone mass and act and look like natural teeth.

Dental Implants Are a Better Answer

Dental implants replace the entirety of a missing natural tooth, from the root up, with something stronger, giving patients all the benefits and functionality of natural teeth. Those with dental implants enjoy a diet complete with all of the hard-to-chew foods, along with improved bite and speech. Here are other benefits to the full arch restoration done for you at Affiliated Dentists.

  • Permanent, secure restoration
  • Preserve and protect bone health
  • Long-lasting and durable
  • Bio-compatible materials
  • Beautiful and natural-looking
  • Increase your confidence

Am I a good candidate for a full arch reconstruction?

When you have many old crowns, a bridge, and fillings, your restorations may not feel comfortable or allow you to chew properly. You may also be missing teeth or have had many issues with your remaining teeth, over the years. Full arch dental restoration is an excellent option to replace failing and missing teeth.

Whether you’re missing one tooth or many, dental implants may be the best choice for you. We are experienced in treating patients with complex cases that may even have been turned away by others. The best way to find out if you’re a candidate is to visit us for a free consultation.

I don’t want people to know I have implants. Will my smile look like I have real teeth?

Believe it or not, dental implants actually become an integrated part of your mouth because they adhere to the jawbone, just like “real” teeth. You’ll be able to brush, floss, eat and smile as if you’d had these teeth your entire life. You can even work with our master lab technicians to determine the shape, color, and size of your teeth to make them look completely natural.
