Staff Spotlight
My name is Carri Schumacher, and I have been a Dental Assistant for 16 years, the last three of which being at Affiliated Dentists. I am a cat lover and a Trekkie, having been to six conventions in Las Vegas. I also love to travel.
Road Trip
Last Spring I took a 10 day road trip with my best friend Tina to the Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks, with many pit stops along the way. My favorite of the places we visited were the Lewis and Clark Caverns and Bannack State Parks in Montana. We also really enjoyed the Lamar Valley in Wyoming. We had also taken another road trip the previous year to see around 25 waterfalls in New York. One thing I’ve learned from these trips is that it really is possible to carry a conversation for 17 hours straight.
Other Travel
I also travel with my boyfriend, who is interested in America’s ancient earthworks. Together we have been to Trempealeau and Aztalan in Wisconsin; Cahokia in Illinois; Fort Ancient and the Serpent Mound in Ohio, Wickliffe in Kentucky, and quite a few other out-of-the-way places in between.
